Heavy items are about equipment and planning more than strength. A piano needs a piano board, straps and at least three people. A safe needs the right dolly and a route without soft spots. A pool table usually needs to be taken apart, slate included.
Send us photos and the make or approximate size when you book, and tell us about steps, slopes and turns at both ends. We'll plan the crew and gear, and give you a straight answer if something needs a specialist instead.
What we move
What it costs
Heavy items are moved on the hourly rate, usually with three movers. Your estimate notes any extra time for stairs or disassembly.
Questions
Can you move a piano up stairs?
Yes, in most cases. Tell us the number of steps and whether there's a landing or turn, and send photos if you can. A grand piano on a tight staircase sometimes needs extra planning.
Do you move gun safes?
Yes. Let us know the approximate weight and whether it's bolted down. Safes need to be unbolted and emptied before move day.
Will you set up my pool table?
We disassemble and reassemble standard pool tables. For final leveling and felt work, some owners prefer a billiards technician. We'll tell you up front.
