Pricing

What are your rates?

$139/hour for two movers and a truck, $169/hour for three, with a 3-hour minimum. The rate is the same seven days a week.

How is my estimate calculated?

We ask about your home size and the access at both addresses: floors, elevators, stairs, driveways and parking. From that we give you a written estimate with a realistic time range. You pay the actual hours worked at the same rate.

Are there hidden fees?

No. There are no stair fees, fuel surcharges or long-carry fees added after the move. Packing materials, if you use ours, are billed at cost and listed in the estimate.

Should I hire two movers or three?

Two movers suit studios and most one-bedrooms with good access. For two bedrooms and up, or any home with stairs, three movers usually finish so much faster that the total cost is about the same or lower.

Booking and scheduling

How far ahead should I book?

One to two weeks for weekends and the end of the month. Weekdays can often be booked a few days ahead.

What hours do you work?

Every day of the year, 8am–8pm, including weekends and holidays.

Do you move in the summer heat?

Yes. From June through September we recommend the first slot of the day, and the crew keeps water on the truck and paces long carries.

On move day

What's included in the rate?

Crew, truck, blankets, shrink wrap, tape, floor protection, wardrobe boxes on the day, and standard furniture disassembly and reassembly.

Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?

Yes. Beds, tables and standard furniture are disassembled and reassembled as part of the move.

What won't you move?

Hazardous materials such as propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner and pool chemicals, and pets or other animals. Ask us if you're unsure about a specific item.

Insurance and buildings

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, with cargo and liability coverage. USDOT 4298875. Documentation is available on request.

Can you send a certificate of insurance to my building?

Yes. Send us your building's or HOA's requirements and we'll issue the COI, usually the same day.

Can you get into gated communities?

Yes. We'll get on the gate list and follow the HOA's move rules.
